A Few New Voices

Mark and I spent many long car rides to church meetings discussing life, biblical theology, sports, culture, church, and most imporantly the gospel. We thought that we wouldn’t let the conversations go to waste, and this blog could be a forum to give a voice to many of these issues that we care so much about.

It looks like our buddy, Andy, will be joining us as well. He’s been in on many of these conversations, but won’t be posting until he returns from traveling across the country by motorcycle. We’re trying to put up a sophisticated front here, but Andy’s ultra-man-beard, cross country travels, and ability to fend for his life with nothing but a knife as he camps in national parks full of coyotes should show that there’s a rugged side to us also… well, to Andy at least.

Why “Unlikely Christians” as a title? Those stories are not for now, but they will emerge as we eventually share how each of us, despite dramatically different backgrounds, are very unlikely Christians who have been surprised by God’s grace in one way or another – all leading us to His gospel.

We look forward to where blogging together leads us, and we thank you for coming along for the ride.
